I am pleased with this insert and its layout. The cream-toned paper is easy on the eyes in varied lighting situations and the paper quality is excellent—thin so it doesn't bulk up my binder, but with minimal ghosting, even when I use dark inks. I use pencil and various gel pens in my planner and I've had no bleed-through. Texture is smooth with just a touch of feedback, so it doesn't feel slippery. I do need blotter paper to prevent ink transfer. This is what I expect from Tomoe River paper.
The page layout is great too. Functional and versatile. The checklist space on the left is tiny-narrow—0.75 inches wide, so I only make keyword lists there, and make notes on items as needed in the main schedule box for each day. The schedule box is about 2.5 inches wide by 2 inches high. Nice proportions for the Bible Size pages. I greatly appreciate the daily timeline in 12-hour format. It's what I grew up with and my dyscalculiac brain struggles to interpret 24-hour format timelines. Regarding the planning space allotted to weekends, I would prefer the absence of the two-month reference calendar in the lower right corner of the spread, which would grant a full page-width to the two days that are already only half the height of a weekday section, and that lack any checklist space at all. Other than that one issue, though, I think this insert does what I need it to do. I will likely buy more of these for my planner system in future years.
I couldn’t be happier with my order and will continue to be a customer in the future.
