Yoseka Stationery was founded in 2017 with the goal of introducing the culture of Asian stationery to an audience in the United States and globally. Yoseka exists to create a space where people can discover and share with others what they love about stationery and how it inspires them. Yoseka is here to bring people closer to stationery and to their own creativity. Today, we serve our customers through our online store, our in-person store, events, and through digital content creation.


Part-Time (Multiple openings - Starts $20/hr)

  • Fulfillment Team - Ink Sample Production (Ridgewood, Queens - Immediate)
  • Warehouse Operations - Fulfillment & Product Operations (Brooklyn Navy Yard - Starting June)
  • Storefront/Events Team - Seasonal/On-Call (June to December)

Here at Yoseka Stationery, we bring people closer to stationery. Through our online store, in-person brick-and-mortar shop, events, and social media content creation, we aim to introduce people to the culture of Asian stationery. Each customer is a guest and we hope each guest leaves us having discovered more about their own creativity, with the curiosity and desire to learn more.

Sales Floor Lead
Full Time Position, Wed to Sun
Starting $60-70K/year
(Storefront in Greenpoint, Brooklyn)

The Sales Floor Lead at Yoseka Stationery will be responsible for collaborating with the Storefront Manager to uphold and improve the quality of customer service and each customer's guest journey. This role involves working closely with the Store Manager and being involved in every facet of the Yoseka sales floor operations to achieve our mission on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Store Manager to maintain Yoseka store principles
  • Be responsible for daily provision of excellent customer service by all members of store sales floor team
  • Ownership of the Yoseka in-store guest journey
  • Act as the point person on the sales floor
  • Direct and lead the sales floor flow
    • Make calls regarding crowd control and busy day limitations
    • Lead in guiding each guest's experience through the store
    • Provide feedback and guidance to team members
  • Provide higher level customer service as an individual contributor:
    • Handle customer inquiries about all store products
    • Handle returns, refunds, and warranties
    • Understand restock schedule
  • Oversee daily opening and closing procedures
  • Coordinate with management on launches and store initiatives
  • Growth path into store sales team management including responsibilities such as regular check-ins with team members, coaching, training and performance support

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in a retail specialty store
  • Experience with posting on Instagram, TikTok
  • Leadership experience
  • Event experience
